External Article Submissions

Did you know that you can have your article published on the EST website even if you’re not a member of EST?

Your submission needs to have European policies and politics (broad definition) as its research object, otherwise it should explain how the presented knowledge is valuable to European policymakers and researchers. Moreover, you should mention your full name, main occupation, all references that you have used (literature, data sources, websites), email for communication, and any significant use of AI-driven language models.

Before submitting, please remember to verify that your text follows the guidelines below:

  1. Full original text that has the main objective to increase public awareness about a certain policy-related issue, explain a certain phenomenon
  2. Format: Review
  3. Limit: 1000 – 2000 words
  4. No strict structure: Introduction, Problem Statement, Importance (Policy Description), Possible Solutions or Points of Discussion, Conclusion
  5. Policy problem or described phenomenon should be clearly stated in the text
  6. Reference style: APA 7
  7. Formatting: Times New Roman, 12 (text) – 14 (sections) – 16 (title), abstract, keywords, author’s details, Word (.docx); AI note in the end: were AI-driven language models used significantly?
