Siobhán Golden – Director of Communications
Siobhán Golden is originally from Ireland and currently based in Brussels, where she works in the European Parliament.
She holds an MA in International Relations and a BA in Psychology and Spanish. Siobhán’s diverse experience spans civil society advocacy, UN engagement, women’s leadership, and research on migration and homelessness.
Siobhán joined the EST’s Communications team to strengthen communication strategies, promote high-quality research, and combat misinformation. In this role, she contributes creative content ideas, enhances her project management skills, and collaborates with an international team to expand outreach and engagement.
Sandra Cerilli – Deputy Director of Communications
Sandra Cerilli is an accomplished Communications and Marketing professional with expertise in European policy, sustainability, and international relations. She graduated with a focus on digital communication and media analysis, further refined through an Erasmus program in Tenerife that enriched her cross-cultural and language skills. Currently, she serves as Deputy Director of Communications at the European Student Think Tank, where she develops strategies, oversees creative outputs, and engages communities on global issues. Sandra also contributes as a Foreign Policy Editor at *MSOI The Post*, analyzing European and international topics. Additionally, she works as a content creator for the Youth Council of the U.S. Embassy, leveraging her expertise to drive impactful communication. With extensive social media experience, Sandra brings strategic vision to every project.
Samanta Brahaj – Newsletter & Podcast Coordinator
Samanta Brahaj is a second year student of Political, Social and International Sciences at Alma Mater Studiorum University of Bologna, Italy, where she is currently a Student Ambassador. Moreover, at the University of Bologna she is also a member of Una Europa (Department of Marketing and Communication), an international alliance of 11 European universities which has the aim of founding the “University of the Future”, promoting mobility and culture and funding research. She is not only active within her academic community but also outside: she is a United Nations EcoSoc Youth Forum (the largest youth forum in the world) 2024 Event Moderator, a Volunteer for Togther.eu and a Poll Worker for her town. As a daughter of two Albanians who immigrated to Italy, her main interests revolve around: refugees and immigrants’ rights, gender equality, international relations, law and policy and Eastern Europe!
Lorenzo Buscema – Social Media Coordinator
Originally from Italy, Lorenzo holds a Bachelor’s degree in European Studies and a Master’s degree in International Relations, both from the University of Milan.
Passionate about geopolitics, digital communication, and with several multilateral experiences, he currently collaborates with several institutes and organisations in policy analysis and research on European topics, including environmental and security issues.
As a Social Media Coordinator and enthusiastic young person, Lorenzo is committed to supporting the EST network, increasing online and offline engagement, and actively cooperating with the Communications team.
Christelle Hippe – Website Coordinator
Christelle is currently completing her Bachelor’s degree in European Cultures and Society. During her studies, she spent a semester abroad in France, studying International Relations, and completed an internship in Poland in PR and Marketing.
As a German and Swedish national who has lived in five European countries, Christelle has developed a strong international background and interests in many European topics. Besides her interest in communications, she is interested in migration policy, European external relations, and human rights.
As a Communications team member, Christelle hopes to help more people discover the European Student Think Tank’s by creating engaging content for social media and the website.
Claudia Mateos Díaz – Social Media Coordinator
Claudia Mateos Díaz is currently interning as a junior analyst at the Center for Analysis and Prospective of the Spanish Civil Guard, specializing in security dynamics, international conflicts and geopolitical trends. A graduate of a Dual Degree in Translation and Interpretation and International Relations, she is currently pursuing a Master’s degree as an Intelligence Analyst. As social media coordinator for the European Student Think Tank, she advocates for youth participation in European politics. Claudia is also an associate analyst for GEOPOL21 and an international analyst for Simple Politica, where she provides analysis and articles on defense, global security issues and contributes to the podcast. With a background in translation, communication and international diplomacy, her work combines analytical foresight and strategic policy vision.
