The International Officers of the European Student Think Tank oversee our team of Ambassadors in coordination with the Head of the International Office. They are responsible for guiding the Ambassadors during the term and help them achieve their fullest potential as young critical thinkers and motivated actors. 

Responsibilities

  • Support the work of a the diverse team of EST representatives (Ambassadors) that each officer will manage
  • Guide the Ambassadors in navigating their work and keep them informed about all the initiatives of the EST in which they can get involved.
  • Contribute to the strategic growth and local presence of the EST.
  • Create a safe space for Ambassadors to develop their professional hard and soft skills.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent level of English (C1-C2)
  • Being able to actively listen to your Ambassadors’ team needs and guide them through the EST to ensure their success and that the Ambassadors have a pleasant experience throughout the term
  • Strong communication skills. 
  • Ability to meet deadlines. 
  • Previous experience in youth-led initiatives/organisations is considered an asset. 

The International Office will be composed of one Head of the International Office (the spokesperson of the group), 5 International Officers and around 25 Ambassadors. All positions will start 1st of August 2025 and will end on the 31st of July 2026. Please do not apply if you will not be available during the full term. It is also expected that every International Officer is able to commit from 5 to 7 hours per week to this function, especially during the first 2 months (August-September 2025), considering you will be in charge of the recruitment of the new EST Ambassadors.

The Call for Applications will be open until July 6th 2025 (23:59h CEST). Applications will be screened on a rolling basis, so you can be contacted for an interview between the end of June and July 2025. If we find suitable candidates before the deadline, the EST reserves the right to close the call earlier.
