Opportunity to gain experience in a thriving and developing team: The EST was founded in 2010 and has been growing over the years. We now have more than 150 members from a wide range of nationalities and backgrounds.
A Global Network: The EST is your chance to work closely with an international team of Ambassadors, writers, researchers, editors and creatives from both European and non-European countries, and to form connections based on your common interests.
Skills: Volunteering for the EST will shape and develop a variety of skills, from your ability to communicate in a team and organise around differing commitments, to strengthening your understanding of events’ management, the different publications and writing styles through our training workshops.

Applications for Treasurer & Fundraising Head for 2025-2026 OPEN
Are you passionate about Europe? Do you want to gain experience in an international youth-led organisation? Then you should apply for the Treasurer & Fundraising Head position of the European Student Think Tank.
In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial health of EST. Beyond financial management, you will collaborate closely with a dynamic and idea-driven board. You will also work hand-in-hand with the Vice President in charge of Partnerships and co-lead the team of Partnerships and Fundraising Officers. This role requires a commitment of approximately 8 hours per week and will last until July 31st 2026.
Responsibilities
- Regular check and management of the organisation’s bank account
- Liaise with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce
- Lead, along with the Vice-President in charge of Partnerships, the funding and fundraising strategy
- Find ways of ensuring the sustainable funding of the organisation
- Track and oversee the status of members and their fee payments
- Managing payments and invoices for EST activities and services
- Attend Board Meetings and take part in decisions relevant to the organisation
Requirements

- Posses a vision for the EST
- Experience in budgeting will be considered an advantage

The Call for Applications will be open until 29th of June (23:59 CEST). Applications will be screened on a rolling basis, so you can be contacted for an interview in July. If we find suitable candidates before the deadline, the EST reserves the right to close the call earlier.
Expected start date is August 2025. However, you might be requested to engage in other preparatory tasks during the last 2 weeks of July to ensure a smooth start of your term.
