Leading EU journalist Hughes Belin is joined by Alberto Pototschnig, the director of the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER), for an exclusive interview on the EU energy market, and its impact on energy prices for consumers.
Alberto Pototschnig supports the new legislative regulation on major infrastructure projects and gives insight into the development of network codes. Pototschnig further elaborates on the involvement of consumers in the European electricity market, including demand response, a must. He says he “can’t promise lower prices” but wishes that the prices would better reflect the conditions of the market.
