We, the countries and the people that built the United Nations, that brought Universal Justice in the Nuremberg Trials and vowed that we would never repeat the horrors of the Second World War cannot stand impassive. We cannot stand impassive when those fleeing from war are denied their right of asylum. We cannot stand impassive when one of the representatives of our democracies preaches fear, and enforces an executive order that violates International Law. We cannot stand impassive; because a violation of Human Rights is a violation of our democratic principles and the Human Rights of all.
