In 1999, the UN General Assembly declared 4 to 10 October “World Space Week” to highlight the contributions of space, science, and technology to the betterment of the human condition. Since then, space has become a crucial factor in enabling a more sustainable future for Europe.
The theme this year is “Satellites Improve Life”, which focuses on the impact of satellites in our daily lives. To mark this occasion, the European Student Think Tank welcomes articles investigating correlations between the European Union and Space.
