In this last Brussels Briefing on Agriculture before the summer break, Agrafacts journalists Rose O’Donovan and Ed Bray provide an overview of the recent deal reached by the Council of Agriculture Ministers, the European Parliament and the European Commission.
They look at the different parts of the agreement (direct payments, greening, coupled aid, young farmers, rural development, market measures, horizontal regulation & Single CMO and transparency). They also provide an interesting first analysis of the compromise.
