

In the last few days we have witnessed terrible attacks in Kabul, Munich, Nice and the latest news is of a terrorist attack in Baghdad. More than ever we must reaffirm our commitment to human rights, international solidarity and cooperation, and our democratic values must prevail in the fight against terrorism.
The EST shares its condolences with the world in these tragic days and commits to work towards a positive peace that not only excludes war, and is the UN founding ideal. More than ever, our mantra “united in diversity” is necessary to pull through these events and build a more just and peaceful society.
