Last month, a representation of the EST board went on an exciting trip to Brussels to spread the idea and impact of our organization. Next to some bonding time in the traffic jams around Brussels we were able to meet with the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Pieter de Gooijer; a researcher from the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS) and Matt Dann, the Secretary General of Bruegel, a Brussels-based think tank.

During all these meetings it was our aim to both inform these organizations in Brussels of our work, to build a stable network and to gather information and advice from the long established, well-known and influential think tanks.
Promoting both our name and our freshly published European Policy Review, we were able to create new ties that we hope will last longer than our short time as board members.

Next to that, we received a lot of helpful and guiding feedback which we intent to apply to our upcoming events, projects and general planning.
We were enjoying the trip very much and we are looking forward to future events and projects to involve you.
