We are currently recruiting EST Ambassadors to several countries. Are you studying at a university in any of the specified countries? Then, this is your chance to join the EST!  Applications will close on the 11th of February at 23.59 CET.

Are you interested in the European Union and would you like to contribute to bridging the gap between the EU and its students? Then apply to become an EST Ambassador!

We are currently looking for Ambassadors studying at universities from the following countries: Albania, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Latvia, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, The Netherlands, Norway, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine and the UK.

Being an EST Ambassador means being part of an international network. Your role and contributions as an Ambassador are key factors to EST’s growing success. You will become the main contact point for the EST within your country, and together we will work on building a diverse and inclusive network.

As an Ambassador, you will acquire first-hand experience working within an international youth think tank, and you will become involved in the European policy-making process. The main objective of the Ambassadorship is to get students in your country involved in online and offline activities and to collaborate with students / young professionals all across Europe. Your responsibilities may include some of these tasks (depending on your preferences):

  • Creating content: writing articles on your preferred topics and contributing to common publications relating to current EST campaigns, such as the EPP or the EPR. In addition, you may contribute to our social media through infographics or videos.
  • Organising or participating in events relating to current European issues: you will be encouraged to organise debates and conferences both online and in person about a wide variety of topics.
  • Building a network: promoting EST via social media and other channels in your country, at your university, or to your government, and building a national network of enthusiastic student contributors.
  • Updating the EST International Officers: detailing the activities that you are organising and submitting reports on this each month.

There is also plenty of room for your own ideas and initiatives, so all your proposals are welcome!

The EST is looking for motivated, proactive candidates who have an excellent command of English and good written, verbal, and social skills. In addition, Ambassadors are required to study at a university in the country they represent and be familiar with its higher education system. Ambassadors are asked to dedicate a minimum of 4 hours per week on average to this role. There is a two-month trial period before being appointed for the full term. When successful, you will be appointed as an Ambassador of EST until the 31st of July 2025, with a possible extension based on good performance.

If you are interested and would like to apply for the position of Ambassador of EST, please fill out this form before on the 11th of February 2025 at 23.59 CET.

*Please keep in mind that if you are selected for the position you will become a member of the EST and will be required to pay a 5€ yearly membership fee.
