Laura Tamás is 23 years old, Hungarian and currently a Globalization and Law Master’s student at Maastricht University. In her studies she focuses on International and European Union law with a special interest in EU External Relations. She has obtained her Bachelor’s degree at the university’s European Law School.
At an early age Laura’s family moved from Budapest to Belgium, this is where her interest in the European Union began to develop. Besides Hungarian she also speaks English, Dutch, French and a little bit of German and Spanish.
Starting in high-school Laura has attended and organized several Model United Nation and Model European Union conferences, as she truly believes in giving the youth a voice in world politics.
Besides being an EST Ambassador, Laura is playing volleyball on a daily basis and loves to read, travel and do horseback riding during her free time.
